Raveena Tandon is a National Film award-winning actress who comes in Hindi movies and is also a former model. She has studied in the Jamnabai Narsee School in Juhu and has graduated from Mithibai College. Her debut film was ‘Pather Ke Phool’ which was released in 1991 and she won the ‘Filmfare Lux New Face Award’ for the same film. She was quite a popular actress and dancer in the 90s and has given a number of commercially successful films. The list of Raveena Tandon’s movies include: ‘Mohra’ in 1994, ‘Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi’ in 1996 , ‘Ziddi’ in 1997 and followed by many more.

Raveena Tandon’s contribution to the film industry got industry got recognized after she won the National Award in the best actress category for the movie ‘Daman : A Victim Of Marital Violence’ which was directed by Kalpana Lajmi. Raveena Tandon was highly appreciated for her performance in this film. With the year 2000, Raveena acted in more realistic films and art films. Her onscreen pair with Akshay Kumar was very successful and both of them have appeared in a number of films. The films of Raveena Tandon which were critically acclaimed are ‘Satta’ which came in 2003 and ‘Dobara’ in 2004, though the films were not successful. Her role as a middle class woman who is thrust upon the world of politics in the film ‘Satta’ was highly appreciated. Raveena Tandon has two adopted daughters and she married film distributor Anil Thadani in 2004. And after her marriage she has not acted in any films but she is willing to make a comeback.
