A discovery of the famous filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma, Ishaa Koppikar is a popular dancer first then an actress of the Indian film industry. Ishaa who is also an Indian model was born on 19th September in 1976. From the Ramnarain Ruia College in Mumbai, Ishaa has graduated in Life Sciences It was during her college life that Ishaa appeared for a photo shoot for the Indian photographer Gautam Rajadhyaksha, this shot her to fame and she was offered to feature in many advertisement commercials like L’Oreal, Rexona, Camay, Tips & Toes, Garnier and Coca-Cola, she also took part in many ramp shows. After winning the Miss Talent Crown, she contested for the 1995 Miss India Contest.

This stunningly beautiful and talented made her first appearance in films in a Tamil movie ‘Kaadhal Kavithai’ in 1998. From then on Ishaa has appeared in over forty films and has also acted in several hindi films. Ishaa has appeared in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi films. In Bollywood, Ishaa shot to fame with the song ‘Khallas’ in the Ram Gopal Verma directed movie ‘Company’. Ishaa has also featured in many music videos and has continued modeling for the fashion designer Anita Dongre and is presently the Indian representative of the Italian fashion company Police Watches and Jewelry. Besides acting in films, and featuring in music videos, Ishaa has also been one of the three judges celebrity dance competition ‘Nach Baliye 3’ and is also a spokesperson for the animal rights organization ‘Peta’.
