The American television and film actress Danielle Panabaker has been cast in the new horror remake of ‘Friday the 13th’ as the female lead. This popular television actress will be seen playing an adventurous and athletic girl. Her rich alpha-male type boy friend will be played by Travis Van Winkle of ‘Meet the Spartans’ fame. Danielle has been playing the daughter of James Woods in the CBS’ ‘Shark’ which is a regular series in the television. She shot to fame with her roles in ‘Stuck in the Suburbs’, ‘Read It and Weep’, and ‘Sky High’.

Panabaker was born in Georgia to Donna and Harold Panabaker. Kay Panabaker who is also an actress is her younger sister. In the remake of the horror flick ‘Friday the 13th’ will be other actors like Aaron Yoo, who will be playing a guy having the tendency to show his attraction for the pretty girls and Jonanthan Sadowski portraying a techie who knows the Camp Crystal Lake’s horrifying history. The director this new remake is Marcus Nispel who has earlier directed ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’. As a child Danielle took her acting lessons at a theater class at a summer camp, it is where she recognized her zeal for acting. At the age of 12, Danielle started acting in community theaters, later she auditioned for commercials. Initially, she appeared in commercials with some role in television series including the famous ‘The Guradian’. This series even won her the ‘Young Artist Award’. These days she appears both in television series and also in films.
