Kirsten Dunst is an American born actress who had a very early start of her career, at the young age of three, when she appeared in television commercials. Kirsten was born on 30th April and is famous for her performance in ‘Interview with the Vampire’ which gave her a Golden Globe nomination. In the year 1989, Kirsten made her debut in films with ‘Oedipus Wrecks’ which was directed by Woody Allen. Soon, she appeared as Tom Hank’s daughter in ‘The Bonfire of the Vanities’. In the seventh episode of ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’ named ‘Dark Page’, Kirsten played Hendril. In 1994 adaptation of ‘Little Women’ in films, Kirsten played the young Amy.

This year saw a breakthrough performance of Kirsten in the movie ‘Interview with the Vampire’ which was based on a novel by Anne Rice. Kirsten has also starred along with Robin Williams in the movie ‘Jumanji’ in 1995. She has appeared in many movies but Kirsten is best known for her portrayal of Marry Jane Watson in the ‘Spider-Man’ film series where she was paired opposite Tobey Maguire. The ‘Spider-Man’ series was very successful and three movies are released by far. Dunst won the Best Actress Silver Ombú at the 2002 Mar de Plata Film Festival for her mind-blowing performance as a silent film actress Marion Davies in ‘The Cat’s Meow’ directed by Peter Bogdanovich. In the film ‘Marie Antoinette’, Dunst played the title role using a American accent, this film was premiered at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival.
