Britney Jean Spears, the popular American pop singer is surrounded most of the times by controversies. Recently a judge extended a temporary restraining order for a month against Sam Lutfi, a friend and former self-styled manager of this troubled pop star. Britney Spears has been “drugged” by him in an attempt to take control of her home, life and finances as charged by the pop star’s mother in the court documents. Spears has been hospitalized since last week for an assessment of her mental condition and recently a psychiatrist has been appointed by a Los Angeles Judge to examine her and determine whether she is capable of understanding the legal proceedings that is going all around her. The judge, who has granted the restrained order against Lutif, has also forbidden him from contacting Spears in any way. Mr.Lutfi has also been charged with the allegations that he had cut Britney’s home phone line and removed her cell-phone chargers. He also used to yell at her. Even he claims to control her business manager, her attorneys and the security guards at the gate. While she has been hospitalized at UCLA Medical Center, the custody battle between Spears and her ex-husband, Kevin Federline has been put on hold. Now her father has taken over her affairs while Britney Spears is undergoing a psychiatric treatment.
